Information, Support and Referral
We
have trained, experienced workers at all of our sites to
assist with information, support and referral over a range of
issues. They are able to provide support to people in times of
stress, and refer to
appropriate services to ensure that peoples needs are met.
If
you would like someone to advocate or speak on your behalf,
our workers can negotiate with State Trustees, utility companies
and other creditors for you.
This
service
is free, confidential and while it is best to make an appointment
to see a worker at South Melbourne and Port Melbourne, you are also
welcome to drop in to talk to workers at any of our sites.
Translation services are available at all sites.
