offers support and assistance via a wide range services. When your down,
out and gloomy you will always find warmth and support at Sacred

Meals
Sacred Heart provides over 400 meals a day every day of the year.
Meals are free and everyone is welcome. Vegetarians are catered for
and the Dining Hall has wheelchair access. Support Workers are on
duty in the Dining Hall to assist you with support and
referral.

8:30 am to 10:30 am
Lunch 12 noon to 1:15 pm
The
Resource Room
Open from 9 am to 1 pm Monday to Fridays. Information and
assistance is provided for a range of issues including housing and
accommodation, physical and mental health, counselling and support,
and emergency financial aid. No appointment is needed, however, you
maybe required to wait for a short time in the waiting
room.
Sports
and Recreation
The Sports and Recreation Program is an opportunity to have fun and
improve your health and fitness. There is a variety of sports and
recreational activities for both men and women, which cater
different age groups and fitness levels. All activities are free
and transport is provided. Activities include football, cricket,
bowling, golf, swimming, yoga, running and walks, movie afternoons
and day trips. Monthly activity calenders are posted on notice
boards or at reception.

The Sacred
Heart Clinic is for people living in unstable accommodation, who
have a Concession Card and live in the City of Port Phillip. The
types of services and therapies available include massage,
physiotherapy, acupuncture, podiatry, optometry, reflexology,
dental checks, hairdressing and counselling.

Women’s
House
Location
65 Robe Street St Kilda
Hours 11:30 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Fridays
The
Women’s House is a safe drop in centre for women. A free lunch is
provided between 12 noon and 2:00 pm. At the Women’s House you can
also access showers with toiletries provided,laundry facilities and
the telephone.
A team of
friendly female Support Workers is available to provide assistance
with housing and accommodation, advice on physical and mental
health issues, links to legal services, counselling and support,
and art classes and social activities. |
