Port Phillip residents who attend the 101 Engagement Hub in St Kilda had a great opportunity to brush up on their culinary skills, through the Making a Meal training program, for which PPCG provided training support.

The ten students thrived on learning how to prepare, then cook a meal to be shared in the newly-refurbished Hub, which boasts a wonderful, state of the art community kitchen among many fine refurbished spaces.

skills. Students and the course organisers hope these additional skills can help lead them on to a pathway for further training or employment.

The program ran over seven weeks in September and October, and following its success, those who initiated the course hope to conduct a similar course in the near future.

PPCG, the Engagement Hub and St Kilda Legal Service are co-located on the corner of Chapel and Carlisle Streets.
