This is a free, confidential service provided by trained, experienced workers at St Kilda, Port Melbourne and South Melbourne locations.
Staff have wide knowledge and networks of all local and general services. They will work with you to assess which of these services is most suited to your needs. They will explain how the service is able to support you, and, if you wish, will make a referral on your behalf. Or, if you prefer, PPCG staff will give you the details and you will make contact with the agency yourself.
PPCG staff can support you by negotiating on your behalf with service providers, government agencies, utilities companies and other businesses to resolve any difficulties arising from issues which may include:
- the quality or non-delivery of a service
- waiting lists for services or housing
- other issues where you feel unable to get your rights heard and fairly considered
