Parcels packed by volunteers since April
$ 20000
worth of food delivered since April

The onset of the COVID-19 pandemic has seen a significant increase in the number of individuals and families contacting PPCG for support. As people struggle to navigate unemployment, housing insecurity and isolation from support networks, PPCG has adapted the way we deliver much needed relief to those who need it.

With support from the City of Port Phillip, PPCG has launched the Share the Food program, which provides food staples, toiletries and hygiene products to people facing financial hardship, and those isolating due to immunity, age or disability. Food parcels are prepared in our central depot according to family size and dietary requirements, and are delivered by agencies and volunteers to people in their homes and in emergency accommodation.

In this time of uncertainty, it is critical that vulnerable community members have reliable and equitable access to food and essential items.

If you are an organisation working in the City of Port Phillip and you would like to register to receive food parcels, please complete the Expression of Interest form and email it to us.

If you are a resident of the City of Port Phillip and you are in need of food support, please phone us to speak to a support worker about how we can assist.
